Choosing new classes each semester inspires mixed feeling around campus. Beginning on April 6, 2009, University of Illinois students have been tackling the registration process. Although using the school website to pick courses has been modified many times over to improve the simplicity of signing up for class, there are still obstacles that every student has a chance of encountering. Digital Television Switch Date Pushed Back October 6, 2009
The FCC’s repeated attempts to jump start the change to digital television in our national broadcast system has been postponed until June 12 of this year. Already pushed back a handful of times, broadcast networks and the public alike, had, until recently, been anticipating a February 17 switch. A later date has been secured for the sake of those who are not yet prepared for this technological update.
